As we think about how to best earn a profitable return on our investment in our people, their intellectual capital and expertise, our years of experience, our technology platforms, infrastructure and firm capital, we favor a compensation methodology that captures the worth of client progress.
Worth also captures the value of the professional services we provide and the all-in costs we bear to provide them.
We tie our compensation for the professional services we provide to an expression of worth. Our expression of worth captures a blend of three components ‒ client progress and the value and costs of the professional services provided.
We believe that compensation tied to worth keeps everyone’s focus and alignment where it should be ‒ on the mutual success of the relationship.
The only compensation we receive is our professional fee we receive from our clients, expressed, linked and measured by the amount of client assets under our management.
We do not receive sales commissions or other third-party forms of compensation. This is explicitly what it means to be a professional fee-only advisor.
